摘要: 龙是非常神奇的动物，其起源被世界各国的人们所猜测。各个民族都有关于龙的传说，但是人们对其外形与发展历程的认识却由于民族文化的不同而产生极大的差异。东方的龙是一种神圣的象征，是灵异，祥瑞的象征，也象征着至高无上的立权;而西方的龙却是可怕的怪物，是邪恶的怪兽，是武士们剑下的亡魂。正是由于文化的差异，也就造成了东西方人们时龙的使用上也呈现出不同性。因此，很好的掌握其历史与文化，可以帮助我们理解外文的真正含义以及对国家之间的交流有促进作用。

Abstract: Dragon is a magical animal. Its origin is speculated by every country of the world people. All ethnic groups have the legend of the dragon but to the shape and development of the dragon people have great differences because of the different cultures. Eastern Dragon is a sacred symbol and is the symbol of the supernatural and the auspicious. It is also a symbol of the supremacy right. But in the West dragon is a terrible monster and is the evil and monster under the samurai sword to the spirits. It is precisely due to the cultural differences that caused the different uses between the East and West of the dragon. Therefore a better understanding of dragon’ history and culture can help us understand the real meaning of foreign countries as well as promoting the exchanges between different countries.
